First of farvardin is the first day of spring.days are getting longer.have you noticed it getting lighter in the evening?cold winterwinds are gone and the spring plants start toflower.both town and country become greenerand trees start to blossom.lots of animals arehaving babies.sheep give birth to lovely lambs.Baa,Baa!!! Baby chicks hatch from their eggs.cheep,cheep!!! Ducklings learn to waddle and swim.Quack,Quack!and fox cubs play in the grass!birds fly back from warmer countries.listen to themsing!have you seen any birds making their nests?it is nice to go outside and play with our friends.

my favorite activities
i love to run,i like to run in a long endless road.when i look at the side of the roads seeing them passing quickly i enjoy the feeling.when i run fast i think i am in the sky going around the planets.when running,i forget all my problems,the only thing i feel is fast heart beating and the sound of my footsteps.i get so excited that is superb.i feel all the barries;like time and place going away;this feeling gives me the utmost pleasure.i love to run,and i wish that i could run forever on an empty endless road;especially in the evenings and clasp the setting-sun.

it was 3 o`clock in the morning when four-year-old russel brown woke up to go to the toilet.his parents were fast asleep in bed.but when he heard a noise in the living room and saw a light was on,he went downstairs.there he found 2 men.they asked him his name,and told him they were friends of the family.unfortunately,russell believed them.they asked him where the video recorder was.russel showed them,and said they had a stereo and cd player,too.the 2 men carried these to the kitchen.russell also told them that his mother kept her purse in a drawer in the kitchen,so they took that.russell even gave them his pocket money-50p.they finally left at 4 a.m.they said,will you open the back door while we take these things to the car,because we dont want to wake mummy and daddy,do we?so russell held the door open for them he then went back to bed.his parents didn`t know about the burglary until they got up the next they.his father said:i couldn`t be angry with russell because he thought he was doing the right thing.fortunately,the police caught the 2 burglars last week.

birthday bike

A Birthday Bike ...
Michael's birthday was coming soon, so he asked his dad for a bicycle so that he would not need to walk to school anymore. However, Michael's dad had lost his job and did not have much money. Michael got a book instead but he did not complain. One bright and sunny day while Michael was walking past a convenience store on his way to school, he saw a big boy on a bike. The bike was too small for the boy. As the boy was turning around a corner, the bike skidded on a puddle of water and crashed into a lamp-post. The boy was a prefect in Michael's school. Michael recognised him. The boy's name was William. William seemed to have broken his leg. Michael picked up William's bike which was not damaged and rode to the nearby hospital to get help. A few minutes later, an ambulance came and brought William to the hospital. Michael rode William's bike to school so he would not be late for class. After school, Michael quickly rode the bicycle to William's house with a book and a jigsaw puzzle for William. William was not too seriously hurt. He was discharged after his leg was put in a cast.
To Michael's surprise, William was getting a new bike on his birthday in two months' time and Michael could have William's old bike. Michael was overjoyed. From then on, Michael and William became good friends. Michael visited William every day till William's leg was healed.
